New Bainbridge Island Micro Farm

An eclectic newly built home goes from blank slate to wonderous, peaceful micro farm.

We created private spaces by designing a cedar and hog panel gate, trellis, fence and screen. The heart of the garden is the custom pond using boulders the homeowner brought from her previous home in New Mexico. Curated views start when you open the gate taking your eye through the Japanese inspired courtyard, through the farm down to the orchard and meadow. They continue from the living room, Tea House, and Pergola. We carefully looked at every angle. A massive open back yard was made intimate by terracing the garden and using the raised beds and pergola as separaters. She chose micro clover instead of grass and her love of a good soil biome won my heart over. PM for more details or if you would like something like this for your space.
